The Jefferson County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed that Meek sustained fatal blunt force injuries. Authorities from the Vestavia Hills Police Department are currently investigating the circumstances of the accident, which took place on Canyon Road in the Birmingham suburb.
Meek's family expressed their grief on his Instagram account, stating, "Our hearts are broken to share that Hudson Meek went home to be with Jesus tonight." His family and friends have planned a celebration of life event for Saturday, which will be streamed online, allowing the community to honor his memory.
